Hi, I'm Kathryn.
I'm glad you've taken the time to visit my site and learn more about my art work. I was born and raised in Washington, DC. I began my working life in the restaurant business and spent my free time with my art work. At first, I made my creations for family and friends. I realized that I was happiest when I was creating. Soon Nana Banana Art, named after my grandmother, was born. Each piece is made with my own two hands (with some of the wood carving, saw-usage help from my husband!) and with love.
Since the early days my work has grown from hand-painted baby gifts to include:

• Party Favors and B'nai Mitzvah Gifts
